The 65X2 is a wireless mechanical keyboard designed with a split layout, featuring a 65% size configuration that supports ANSI and ISO layouts, along with split left shift and backspace keys. It boasts an aluminum case and plate, a hotswap 1.6mm PCB, and a comfortable 7° typing angle. The keyboard has a compact effective height of 20.8 mm and is powered by a 1400mAh battery, offering approximately four months of usage on a single charge. Currently in development, the keyboard is set to be available for a group buy in early 2026, with an expected price of $700 CAD ($500 USD). It operates on ZMK firmware, with potential compatibility for RMK, and allows for easy firmware updates via USB.
