21XX

The 21XX is a modern unsaver keyboard that features a unique layout originally seen on the IBM 3290 Model 1. Designed by Pontus, this keyboard aims to cater to enthusiasts who appreciate the historical significance of the unsaver layout, which has been highly sought after in the keyboard hobby community. The 21XX includes a plateless PCB top mount for the main area and a traditional plate top mount for the function rows, providing a comfortable 5.5° typing angle and a 25.5° angle for the function rows. Key features include a solenoid for acoustic feedback, support for THT indicator LEDs, and an internal USB-C connection. The keyboard comes with a red aluminum plate, two PCBs (main and function row), and additional components like a ribbon cable, a 5V solenoid, and a carrying case. Available in multiple colors, the 21XX is set to be offered in an unlimited group buy scheduled for June 2025.
