The 21XX is a modern keyboard designed with the unsaver layout, which originates from the IBM 3290 Model 1. This layout has gained popularity among keyboard enthusiasts due to its unique design. The 21XX features a plateless PCB for the main area and a traditional plate for the function rows, offering a typing angle of 5.5° for the main keys and 25.5° for the function keys. It includes a solenoid for acoustic feedback and supports THT indicator LEDs. The keyboard is constructed with a 1.6mm FR4 PCB, is solder-only, and comes with a faux integrated USB-C cable. Included in the package are the keyboard case in a chosen color, a red aluminum plate, both main and function row PCBs, a ribbon interconnect cable, a 5V solenoid, cable grommet, AKB bumpons, a sticker, Torx screws, a carrying case, and a microfiber cloth. The 21XX aims to provide a blend of vintage aesthetics with modern functionality, appealing to both collectors and everyday users.
