Altair & Altair-X

The Altair and Altair-X are customizable keyboard kits set to launch from September 19th to October 20th, with an estimated arrival in Q3 2026. The design remains consistent with previous versions but introduces new color options, including Black, Camo Green, Navy, and Silver, along with several add-ons. Notable additions include a soft carrying pouch, aluminum weights for tripod mounts, a new PBS keycap set, and a coiled USB cable for connecting both halves. The pricing starts at $300 for the Altair-X and $315 for the Altair, similar to the first round. Various add-ons are available, including different plate materials and PCB options, as well as accessories like foam kits and wrist rests. Each kit includes case halves, polycarbonate plates, brass weights, PCBs, a USB-C cable, and necessary assembly hardware. The typing angle is set at 7 degrees, with an aluminum case and polycarbonate plates used in construction.
