The BP One by Baron Boards is a uniquely designed keyboard inspired by the McLaren P1, characterized by a smooth and sleek aesthetic. This flagship model features a downward slope at the rear, a distinct rear diffuser, and a front design reminiscent of the car's smile. Notable updates include an engraved "BP One" visible through the rear grill and a transition from magnets to screws for the rear grill attachment. The keyboard is being developed with a modular mounting system, allowing users to customize their build extensively, including the choice of mounts and their placements. Additionally, the BP One includes a wrist rest designed with clear polycarbonate inserts for comfort while maintaining visibility of the vent shapes, as well as testing options for carbon fiber inserts. The anticipated retail price is $499, and the keyboard is being prototyped with 3D printed components and carbon fiber parts.
