Class 100

The Class 100 is a new keyboard design by MM Studio, inspired by the classic DEC LK201 model. It features a full-size 100% layout and includes a magnetically-attached PC blocker with a removable metal legend strip, backlighting, and a solenoid buzzer module. The keyboard retains a traditional three-key indicator cluster (Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock) and incorporates programmable RGB lighting that simulates vintage keyboard effects, which can be disabled via VIAL software. The design also includes a hot-swappable MCU module that allows users to maintain key mappings when switching between full or half plate configurations. The Class 100 is available in various color options and supports isolated top mount mounting styles. Users can choose from different plate materials, including PP, anodized black aluminum, brass, and copper, and the PCB is available in both hot-swap and solder configurations. The design has undergone community feedback to enhance performance and aesthetics.
