Crystal Planet Onigiri

Onigiri is a low-profile keyboard inspired by the design of the last-generation MacBook Pro and features a unique 35-segment LED display. This keyboard boasts a slim profile with a height of just 11.5mm and a 3.5° typing angle, along with a cornerless layout that accommodates low-profile keycaps. It is equipped with Gateron KS-27/KS-33 switches and a hot-swap PCB, which will be open-sourced after the group-buy phase. The Onigiri supports wireless connectivity through Bluetooth 5.4 and includes a 2000mAh battery for extended use. The construction features a top case made of 6061 aluminium, a milled polycarbonate bottom case, and a choice of steel or brass bottom plates. Available colors for the top case include white, black, and blue, while the bottom case comes in neutral or black options, and the bottom plates are available in silver, brass, or black finishes. The design prioritizes a premium feel while addressing the challenges of maintaining structural integrity in such a thin profile. Overall, Onigiri combines aesthetic appeal with functionality for a modern typing experience.
