Enso-E

The Enso-E is a custom split ergonomic keyboard designed to enhance typing comfort and aesthetics. Featuring a unique HHKB layout with a separated bottom row, it supports both EC and MX switches through a hybrid PCB. The keyboard boasts a seamless assembly with a pogo pin connection, eliminating the need for wires. It includes custom silicone gasket socks for adjustable stiffness and vibration damping, and has an 8.125° typing angle with a front height of 17.3 mm. The design is inspired by Japanese zen gardens, emphasizing asymmetry and beauty. The main body can be made from aluminum or titanium, while the bottom weight options include aluminum, stainless steel, brass, or copper. The top shell is available in transparent, frosted, and colored injection-molded polycarbonate, with a magnetically attached accent border. The Enso-E is set to launch a group buy in Q4 2025, with base models starting around $450 and high-end builds estimated at $1200. Prototypes are currently being developed, focusing on innovative assembly methods.
