GS80-3000

The GS80-3000 is a custom PCB designed to revive Cherry's G80/G81-1000, G80/G81-1800, and G80-3700 series keyboards. Co-developed to address the scarcity of replacement PCBs, it features several enhancements over the original design, including compatibility with the original 5-pin USB cables, support for off-center 1.25u keycaps, and an optional daughter board for easier cable management. Constructed from FR4 material with a thickness of 1.6mm, the GS80-3000 offers wired connectivity through a Type-C and ZH1.5 connector. It supports various layouts, including split backspace, ISO/BAE Enter, and multiple spacebar configurations. The PCB is compatible with older and newer G80/G81 series boards but is not suitable for models with extra keys like the G80-3108. The GS80-3000 is priced at $70, with an optional ZH1.5 daughter board available for $5. Future releases include the GS80-1800 and GS80-3700, which will offer additional features and layout support.
