HMX Cosmic Purple/Lunar Stone Switches

The HMX Cosmic Purple and Lunar Stone switches are new linear switches featuring full POM housing, designed by Unikeys and manufactured by HMX. Both switches have an operating force of 45±2g and a bottom-out force of 55±2g, with pre-travel distances of 2.0mm. The Cosmic Purple switch has a total travel of 3.4±0.2mm, while the Lunar Stone has a slightly longer total travel of 3.6±0.2mm. The Cosmic Purple switch utilizes a LY stem, which contributes to a louder and clackier sound profile, whereas the Lunar Stone switch uses a POM stem, resulting in a quieter and thockier sound. Both switches are factory lubed to minimize lube pooling issues, with a thin coat of lubricant applied to the stem legs and sliders. These switches aim to enhance the auditory experience for users, addressing concerns about the sound quality of previous models.
