The Mask Off (MO) keyboard kit is a custom mechanical keyboard designed to blend minimalistic aesthetics with modern functionality. Inspired by elements of brutalism and cyberpunk, the keyboard aims to stand out in a market perceived as homogenized. The name "Mask Off" reflects the design philosophy of revealing the internal components, showcasing the activity happening beneath the aluminum shell. This compact 65% layout keyboard measures 365mm in length and 102mm in width, featuring a 7-degree typing angle and an 18mm front height. It utilizes high-quality ALU 6063 for both the top and bottom case materials, and includes a custom-designed hotswap PCB that supports underglow lighting, ANSI/ISO layouts, and Kailh hotswap sockets. The keyboard is also QMK/VIA compatible and offers options for various plate materials and colorways. The interest check invites potential buyers to provide feedback on features such as a foam dampening kit, ISO support, and Bluetooth capabilities.
