PBS Granite

PBS Granite is a new keycap set featuring the PBS (Penguin Belly Slide) profile, designed for a comfortable and ergonomic typing experience. Each keycap in this uniform profile has the same height, combining a cylindrical front and back with a spherical top scoop for a wide contact area. Made from durable PBT plastic, the keycaps are 1.5mm thick and support both dyesub and reverse dyesub printing techniques. The Granite colorway, inspired by classic SGI Granite keyboards, was first introduced by keyboard enthusiast Matt3o in 2014, following community votes on color preferences. This new iteration of Granite retains the essence of its predecessors while introducing RGB accents and ergonomic support. The set includes various kits, such as Regular Base, 40s/Ortho Base, and Accents, with specific color guidelines based on RAL codes. The keycaps are designed to offer massive layout support, with maximum heights of 7.43mm for concave and 7.91mm for convex options.
