PBS Granite

PBS Granite is a new keycap set featuring the Penguin Belly Slide (PBS) profile, designed by Matt3o and manufactured by Keyreative. This profile is characterized by a uniform height across all rows, combining a cylindrical front and back with a spherical top scoop, which enhances comfort and ergonomics during typing. The keycaps are constructed from durable PBT plastic, with a thickness of 1.5mm, and feature both dyesub and reverse dyesub printing techniques. The set offers extensive layout support and includes both concave and convex options, with maximum heights of 7.43mm and 7.91mm, respectively. The Granite colorway, inspired by classic SGI Granite keyboards, originated from a community vote in 2014, resulting in a gray-themed keyset. This new iteration aims to preserve the spirit of the original Granite while adapting the colors to the PBS profile, using specific RAL color codes for consistency. The keycap set will be available in various kits, including a regular base, 40s/Ortho base, and accent kits, each priced accordingly.
