QFRL100

Etar87 is a newly named mechanical keyboard project previously known as QFRL100. The name "Etar," which means "border" in Arabic, reflects the keyboard's design inspiration from Arabic architecture and calligraphy. The keyboard features a 7.5-degree angle and a 100% FRL layout, with a height of 17.98 mm at the front and a top and bottom mount design. It includes a brass through weight and is made from multiple plate materials, including aluminum, PC, and PP. The Etar87 supports a variety of PCB layouts, including options for a 10U spacebar and split backspace, and is compatible with both MX and Alps switches. It utilizes QMK, VIA, and Vial firmware for customization. The keyboard weighs 2.351 kg and has overall dimensions of 437.5 mm in width and 115.2 mm in length. The design incorporates a combination of aesthetic and functional elements, with color options such as dark blue, dark gold, emerald green, purple, and red. Pricing is projected to be around $450, with potential adjustments based on order quantities.
