The SA Motorsport Selectric is a keycap set inspired by classic motorsports, particularly the iconic Gulf Motorsport livery from the mid-1960s to the 1970s. Designed by switchbox.studio and Madmax13, this set features a doubleshot ABS construction and is manufactured by Signature Plastics. It pays homage to the vibrant orange and powder blue colors synonymous with Gulf Motorsport, recognized globally for their association with legendary racing events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The design incorporates elements from the IBM Selectric typewriter and aims to fill gaps in previous SA Selectric kits by including key icons for Print Screen, Pause, and Scroll Lock. Unique arrow designs reminiscent of US road signage are also part of the set, enhancing its classic racing theme. The keycap colors are aligned with the traditional palette from Signature Plastics, making this set a distinctive choice for both motorsport enthusiasts and keyboard aficionados.
