The Snake60 - Fossil Edition is a unique mechanical keyboard designed in collaboration between Toro Studio and un*defined Studio. Inspired by a snake preserved in amber, this keyboard features a skeleton encased in a brown patina brass weight, evoking a sense of earthiness. The case is made from Uni-body PEI (Ultem) and includes a hotswap PCB, which may also support soldering based on feedback. Key specifications include a 6-degree typing angle, a size of 302.75mm x 117.4mm, and compatibility with various layouts such as WK/WKL/HHKB. The keyboard comes with an aluminum plate by default, with additional materials available as add-ons. Each package includes essential components like stabilizers, a carrying case, and a protective cloth bag. Limited to 111 units, the price is set at USD $500, with options for layout and extra add-ons. The project emphasizes community involvement, celebrating the shared journey of the Snake's story.
