SP-111 Round 2 : Return of the King

The SP-111 Round 2 is a redesigned split keyboard that features several enhancements based on user feedback and design modifications. Key updates include a shorter board height, new feet for further height reduction, and a screw added for better stability of the plate and PCB assemblies. The design has also seen improvements in radii, thickness, and spacing. Each side of the keyboard is equipped with its own microcontroller (MCU) and RGB indicators with a polycarbonate light pipe. Notably, the plates and PCBs from the first round are incompatible with the Round 2 case, although Round 2 plates can fit in Round 1 cases. The keyboard layout is designed for left-handed users, allowing simultaneous use of a numpad and mouse, making it suitable for tasks like CAD and data entry. It employs a sandwich mount style for better alignment and stability. The name "SP-111" reflects its split design, a nod to left-handed use, and incorporates personal significance from the creator's username.
