Touchstone

Touchstone is a thoughtfully designed keyboard that emphasizes simplicity and functionality, inspired by architectural and artistic principles. The design strips away excess, focusing on form, material, and proportion, with influences from modernist and minimalist sculpture. It features a clean aesthetic, available in two colorways: the "Mono" edition, characterized by a stark palette, and the "Primary" edition, which aligns with the De Stijl movement's geometric principles. The keyboard boasts a full-size layout with 108 keys, a 7° typing angle, and a front height of 20mm. It utilizes a top-mounted design with separate PCBs and plates for the TKL and numpad sections. Constructed from materials such as brass and aluminum for the Primary edition, and steel and aluminum for the Mono edition, it weighs 5.8lbs unbuilt and 7lbs when built. Touchstone is positioned as a functional object that invites contemplation, merging art and utility in a unique way.
