The VØID 65% Layout Top Mount O-Ring Keyboard is a customizable mechanical keyboard kit designed for a tailored typing experience. It features a dual mounting system, allowing users to choose between a firmer top mount for a pronounced sound or a softer o-ring mount for a more isolated feel. After extensive development and community feedback, the kit includes metal inserts in the polycarbonate version to enhance durability, especially for frequent rebuilds. The keyboard has a 65% layout with a typing angle of 7.5° and an effective height of 23.35mm. It offers various plate materials, including aluminum, polycarbonate, POM, carbon fiber, and FR4, and comes with an in-house designed PCB that supports hot-swap or solder configurations. The kit includes a complete set of components such as the keyboard case, plates, a daughterboard JST cable, and custom rubber feet. Pricing starts at $280 for the aluminum kit and $385 for the stainless steel and copper kit, with shipping expected in Q1 2025.
